Building in Brazil collapses
BRAZIL – A child and several other individuals were rescued from the debris of a collapsed three-story building in Rio de Janeiro.
Buildings can collapse due to various reasons, and the consequences can be severe. Recently, a three-story building in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil collapsed, trapping several people inside. Thanks to the heroic efforts of rescue workers and volunteers, some of the people trapped in the rubble were saved including a child, a baby boy, and two women.
They were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. According to the Fire Department, one person died while five were injured from the collapse. Authorities are still conducting an investigation regarding the incident.
