Pope Francis Out From Hospital, Gives Message to Public

Pope Francis Gives Message after 4-Night Hospital Stay

POPE FRANCIS – The Supreme Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church has been discharged from the hospital after a 4-night stay.

The Roman Catholic Church’s head is the Pope – currently Argentine Pope Francis. He stays in Vatican and most of the concerns about him are public being the chief. Usually, it is the spokesperson of Vatican that airs the schedule of the Pope, his health concerns and whereabouts, his messages on certain occassions, etc. The task is on Matteo Bruni now.

Last Wednesday, after his general audience at St. Peter’s Square, the Pope was brought to Gemelli Hospital by an ambulance. Supposedly, he was set for a television interview but it had to be cancelled as he complained of breathing difficulties.

According to Vatican spokesperson Matteo Bruni, the Pope was suffering from breathing difficulties in the days prior to him being brought to the hospital. He was asked to stay at the hospital for his medication for bronchitis.

Pope Francis was admitted at Gemelli Hospital for four (4) nights. He was given antibiotics during his hospital stay. Despite being in the hospital and his Thursday and Friday schedules being cancelled, he still did some works.

Meanwhile, Pope Francis has been discharged from the hospital. He was the one who led the Palm Sunday mass. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, he even gave a message to the public during his general audience after the mass.

“I thank you for your participation and also for your prayers, which intensified during these past days. Thank you!” the Pope said.

The Pope blessed the palms and walked shortly with a walking stick. He was sitting during the ceremony in front of some 30,000 attendees. It is no secret to the public that he has some health conditions with some brought by his advanced age already – at 86 years old.
