Veteran actress Vilma Santos on “Baby Peanut”: “I’m really looking forward when she grows bigger”
VILMA SANTOS – The veteran actress said that her first granddaughter, “Baby Peanut”, has the makings of a celebrity, just like her parents Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola.
Isabella Rose Manzano, also known as “Baby Peanut” or “Rosie”, is the first child of actor Luis Manzano and his wife Jessy Mendiola. Luis is the son of Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano.
The “Star For All Seasons” said in an interview on the sidelines of her launch as celebrity ambassador of a motorcycle-hailing app that her two-month old granddaughter already knows how to project herself even this early.
According to the veteran actress, she has a feeling that “Baby Peanut” will also get into showbiz when she’s grown up a little.
“Maarte siya. Sa posing niya, you can tell, artista ‘to. She’s very pretty. I’m so excited. I’m really looking forward when she grows bigger,” Vilma said.

The veteran actress further said that she’s looking forward to the day when her granddaughter is finally able to call her “Momsie”, as what Luis, Ryan, and their cousins call her.
Vilma also claimed that all her social media followers and supporters have been waiting for her “collab” with her granddaughter. According to her, she’s looking forward to do a “collab” when her granddaughter “probably turns seven months or one year old”.
It was last December 28, 2022 when Jessy and Luis welcomed their first child. The next day, “Baby Peanut” first saw her grandmother as her first visitor.
