Rochelle Pangilinan: “Alam ko ‘yung buhay noon e, alam ko rin ‘yung buhay pano maghirap”

ROCHELLE PANGILINAN – The actress-dancer recently spoke about growing up in poverty in Malabon and also shared what it’s like for her growing up poor.

The “Mga Lihim ni Urduja” star appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she spoke about growing up poor. In the interview, the King of Talk asked the actress-dancer if she’s afraid of suffering again.

Aside from this, Rochelle opened up what it’s like for her growing up poor, saying that they don’t eat delicious and fancy food back then.

The actress-dancer shared that she’s allowed to play outside for a limited time and there’s discipline that her parents give at that time. She then agreed when the King of Talk said that it was a difficult but happy life.

In the same interview, Rochelle said that she left the girl group and decided to take her career in show business as a solo artist in 2007. But when asked if there was a time that she didn’t want her name associated with the group, she said “Hindi po totoo ‘yun.”

Mas gusto ko nga sana kaming mag-reunion eh, bago ikasal, gusto ko magkasama-sama muna kaming sumayaw ng buo,” she said.

It was last month when the girl group reunited for a Netflix ad.

Rochelle Pangilinan, who currently stars in Kapuso teleserye “Mga Lihim ni Urduja”, tied the knot with Arthur Solinap in Tagaytay in 2017. The couple have a daughter named Shiloh.
