Parokya ni Edgar: “Since medyo immediate yung need, we decided wag na i-auction, but go with the highest offer instead”
PAROKYA NI EDGAR – The OPM band has opened the offer for Marcus Adoro’s hand-drawn portraits of Eraserheads band members.
The band gave an update about guitarist Gab Chee Kee, saying that he’s allowed to go out of the hospital but they still need a “significant amount” to help pay for his hospital and doctor’s fees.
“Hello everyone! Medyo good news! Pwede na raw makauwi si Gab! But we still need a significant amount to help pay for Gab’s hospital and doctor’s fees,” the band said in the caption of its post on Facebook.
In the caption, the band said that Marcus Adoro, one of the members of Eraserheads band, donated hand-drawn portraits of himself and his fellow band members Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, and Raymund Marasigan.
The band is planning to open an auction for Marcus’ drawing to help pay for Gab’s hospitalization, but the band decided to go with the highest offer instead “since medyo immediate yung need”.
According to the band, Marcus drew those portraits last 2018 and signed by Eraserheads band members just recently. The hand-drawn portraits, which was placed in a picture frame, is “perfect for the music fan or art collector”.
“Marami di nakakaalam that Gab is the uncle of Marcus’ son, kaya may familial connection sila,” the band said. “Maraming-maraming salamat Marcus sa tulong na ito! God bless you!”
The minimum offer for “Drawing ni Marcus” is at PHP 100,000 and the one with the highest offer by 3:00 pm on March 12 will get the item.
