Kris Bernal: “Sobrang idol ko si Luka [Doncic] so ipapangalan ko sa magiging anak ko.”
KRIS BERNAL – The actress-entrepreneur and content creator recently revealed one of her cravings in her pregnancy.
It was last March 3, 2023 when Kris announced that she and her husband Perry Choi are expecting their first child. Aside from this, she also announced the rebranding of her YouTube channel by reintroducing herself as the “ultimate SHE-zum”.
Philstar released a video on its YouTube channel last March 8, 2023 wherein the actress was asked in an interview with the media about her pregnancy cravings. According to the actress, she never got interested in basketball but it felt weird that she suddenly wanted to watch NBA.
She also said that her favorite NBA team is Dallas Mavericks and her idol in basketball is Luka Doncic.
“Naglilihi kasi ako sa basketball. So weird. Nood ako nang nood ng NBA. Wala kong pinapalagpas na game basta ‘yung favorite team ko, Dallas Mavericks. Sobrang idol ko si Luka so ipapangalan ko sa magiging anak ko. Pero second name lang siguro,” she said. “Ayon nga, it’s so weird, I never got interested naman sa basketball pero ngayon alam ko pati oras ng game. Sobrang weird,”

Aside from this, the actress said that she’s also craving for sour foods in her pregnancy. She also told the media that her cravings change from time to time.
Kris Bernal is currently in her 17 weeks of pregnancy and she doesn’t know yet the gender of her first child. The actress shared that she was advised by her OB-Gyne to take the “gender reveal and chromosomal testing” at 22 weeks.
She also said that she and her husband are already thinking of some names, whether it’s for a girl or a boy.
“I’d be happy with either one,” she said. “But most of our family members want to have a baby girl since almost every mother in the family got boys.”
