A waiter just received P274,000 tip from Jason Derulo
JASON DERULO – The international singer earned praises online after giving a $5,000 (P274,000) tip to a waiter in Nebraska.
Jason Derulo is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. He was born on September 21, 1989, in Miramar, Florida. Derulo began his music career as a songwriter, penning tracks for other artists such as Lil Wayne and Diddy.
He then went on to release his own music, and his debut single, “Whatcha Say,” was released in 2009 and became a commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Derulo has since released several albums and is known for his popular hits such as “Talk Dirty,” “Wiggle,” and “Swalla.” He is also known for his impressive dance skills and has choreographed many of his own music videos.
The American singer earned praises online after leaving $5,000 (P274,000) tip to a waiter in Nebraska. Earlier, a TikTok video was uploaded by Jordan Schaffer, an employee at Charleston’s Restaurant in Omaha, in which he shared his encounter with Jason Derulo and his family. The video shows Jason Derulo writing something on the bill, which amounted to $759.99.
“Wow, my heart’s beating really fast,” Jordan tells Jason, making everyone cheer. To which Jason responded, “You guys are really awesome man.”

Afterwards, the footage transitions to Jordan expressing his appreciation to the musician for the substantial amount of money he left as a gratuity. “You just paid for a semester at my college. I can’t say thank you enough,” Jordan said. “I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Omaha and I hope you see us again.”
