Ice Seguerra came out publicly as a lesbian on August 18, 2007, while he identified as a transgender man in August 2014. He is now married to Liza Diño-Seguerra, the former Chairman of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). They tied the knot on December 8, 2014, in California.

Recently, he went to social media platform, Instagram wherein he shared the interaction of his fan and a basher. A basher named Nomar told the singer: “Ang pangit mo pre mapera ka lang.”

A certain Nora came to his defense, saying: “Inggit ka lang siguro kay Ice. Kababayan ko sya. Hinde sya pangit no eksakto lang. Saka ano bang pakialam mo sa mukha ng ibang tao? Pinakialaman ka nya ba? Kung di mo siya gusto shut up your big mouth okay?”

Ice Seguerra couldn’t help but burst in laughter while praising Nora for her honesty. Among those who reacted to his post were celebrities like Moira Dela Torre, Ogie Alcasid, Vina Morales, and Kyla Alvarez.
