Ashley Ortega: “Actually nagugulat nalang talaga ako na parang, ha saan nila nakukuha to?”
ASHLEY ORTEGA – The Kapuso actress recently responded to rumors linking her to her “Hearts on Ice” co-star, actor Xian Lim.
Ashley is the celebrity guest in the latest episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast wherein she responded to the rumors linking her to Xian Lim. The actor is in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.
In an interview, Ashley expressed her surprise that such a rumor is getting traction. She shared that she and Xian just laughed at rumors like that.
According to the actress, she and Xian Lim are just good friends and she respects the fact that he has a girlfriend.
“Natatawa na lang kami ni Xian, na parang saan ba to nanggagaling. Actually nagugulat nalang talaga ako na parang, ha saan nila nakukuha to?” she said. “I’m not that kind of person naman na mang-aagawa, or diba mga accusations sa akin ng mga tao na malandi daw ako, na lihim daw kaming nagkikita and everything.”
The actress then clarified that they’re training in figure skating together for “Hearts on Ice”.
In the same interview, she shared how she moved on from her breakup with her former boyfriend, Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala.

According to Ashley, it was “very difficult” for her to move on in the first 2 months after breaking up with Mark because she felt physically, mentally, and emotionally alone when she started to live by herself.
The actress also shared that she’s “really happy” 8 months after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, adding that she already recovered from the separation and she thinks she’s ready to enter into a new relationship.
