Content creator Alexis Vines is now a multi-millionaire
ALEXIS VINES – The 15-year-old content creator from San Miguel, Del Monte, Bulacan, whose real name is Alexis Dagupan, is now a multi-millionaire.
It was during the pandemic when his food-related content videos boom. Now, he has cars, land properties, condo unit and multi-million businesses. Together with his sister who’s also a content creator, Alexis was able to buy in cash a 4,000-square-meter lot in San Miguel worth PHP4.5 million. They are planning to build modern houses there with swimming pool.
Aside from that, he bought a 2,000-square-meter land property in Mindoro and has started the construction of their rest house. He was also able to build a house for his grandmother in the province. Alexis Vines also fulfilled his dream to his mom that he’s going to build her a coffee-shop business which started with a 500K capital. At present, they are planning to establish more businesses including a restaurant.
Alexis has over 3.1 million followers on his monetized Facebook page. On the other hand, his TikTok page has more than 1 billion combined views. Most of his content are food reviews, food hacks, and product reviews.
In an interview with Julius Babao UNPLUGGED last February 16, 2023, Alexis said his life made a 180-degree turn because of his vlogging. He shared that he experienced cleaning the house of his neighbors and become a store attendant for a small income. He also sings at the arcade and people entertained by his performances tend to give him money. However, he did not pursue joining singing competitions.
He started his vlogging career, going to “karinderya” reviewing their menu. The very first video he posted online earned 100,000 views. Then, his social media following increased.
Asked for an advice to those who wanted to become content creators, he said: “Maging confident sa ginagawa. Lagyan ng tiyaga. Maging masaya para sa iba. Gumawa ng quality video o ginagawa mo o hobby mo sa buhay.”
