Sam, whose real name is Samuel Frederick Smith, is an English singer and songwriter. He’s behind the hit singles; I’m Not The Only One, Too Good at Goodbyes, Lay Me Down, Dancing with a Stranger, Stay With Me, How Do You Sleep?, Latch, and to name a few.

Through the years, the 30-year-old singer has earned numerous awards and citations including four Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, three Billboard Music Awards, and an American Music Award, as well as a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.

Smith was among those who graced the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, a music awards ceremony held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. He and fellow singer Kim Petras took home the “Best Pop Duo” award in the said ceremony.

During the awards night, the two performed their hit single “Unholy” but some netizens criticized their performance. There were even social media users who tagged their performance as “satanic.”

Another netizen claimed that the performance of Smith on live television is a form of “satanic ritual.”

Meanwhile, the recent Grammys recognized the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. Among the big winners in the said awarding ceremony is singer Beyonce.
