According to a sports news website, five players coming from both teams were ejected during the game. They are Timberwolves’ Austin Rivers, Taurean Prince, and Jaden McDaniels, and Magic’s Mo Bamba and Jalen Suggs.

In the third quarter, Magic center Mo Bamba and teammate Markelle Fultz teased Minnesota guard Austin Rivers after the latter missed a three-point attempt in front of the opposing bench.

Then, Bamba and Rivers got into a fight until other players stepped in. Jalen Suggs ducked Rivers. As a result, Rivers’ teammates Jaden McDaniels and Taurean Prince came to the rescue until there was scuffle. After the incident, the Magic won against the Timberwolves, 127-120.

The incident happened a day after Memphis Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell got into a fight.

Apparently, Brooks hit Mitchell on the sensitive part of his body. The latter retaliated and threw the ball against Brooks and a commotion erupted. On Friday, the NBA announced that they were suspending Brooks while Mitchell was fined $20,000.

Meanwhile, the NBA has yet to issue any update regarding the Magic and Timberwolves scuffle. They may face a fine or suspension as well.
