Why Joaquin Domagoso is not settling down with Raffa Castro yet?
JOAQUIN DOMAGOSO – The award-winning actor made a clarification regarding his decision not to marry his girlfriend Raffa Castro yet.
The 21-year-old actor reiterated that he never concealed the fact that he was about to become a father, even before his girlfriend, Raffa Castro, gave birth to their child. However, it took him a while before giving a confirmation.
On February, 8, 2023, he appeared in the newest talk show of Boy Abunda, the “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” wherein he talked about being a father.
When asked how he reacted when he knew that Raffa is pregnant and that they were about to have a baby, he said: “Una po, hindi ko po siya napi-feel, as in sa akin lang, natutuwa lang po ako talaga. In my mind, I was just so happy I’m gonna be a dad.”
According to him, he felt the pressure of becoming a father when his girlfriend was on her 8-9 months of pregnancy. He admitted that there was a point in time he became afraid. “Natakot po ako kasi I’m so young and ano mabibigay ko sa anak ko at this age, and ano mangyayari sa career if,” he confessed.
After sharing the news about his girlfriend’s pregnancy to his parents, Joaquin said that his dad former Manily Mayor Isko Moreno was happy. But when he told his mom about it, she told them that no marriage is happening yet.
Joaquin Domagoso said that their decision to not settle down yet is “consensual.” He said: “I don’t wanna do it just because may anak na kami kasi kawawa naman si Raffa nun, you know. Kawawa naman sa kanya if all… the reason why na pinakasalan ko siya is dahil may anak lang kami.”
