Here’s the reaction of Edu Manzano on legal battle of son Luis Manzano
EDU MANZANO – The veteran actor reacted to the legal battle of his son Luis Manzano.
It was on February 7, 2023 when the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) issued a subpoena against the television host. The schedule of Luis’s appearance before the NBI was reset on February 20 after his camp asked for an extension to comply with additional documents.
This is in relation to approximately fifty people who filed an estafa complaint against Luis Manzano and the TV host’s Flex Fuel Petroleum Corporation partners.
His father, Edu Manzano, has reacted on his legal battle. According to the veteran actor, his son is confident that he will overcome it.
“Alam niyo mas mahirap pa ang tumagal sa showbiz. He’s been in the business for how many years and he survived. Besides, like I’ve said, he already tried to explain his case, but mabuti na nasa kamay ng mga abugado so less said, the better,” he said. “Nag-uusap kami, but I don’t need to defend him. Matanda na yun, e. He’s his own man,” he added.
Edu also emphasized the importance of discussing the merits of the complaint against his son in the proper legal forum. “Kung anuman ang nangyari sa kanilang magkasosyo, e, that is something that we will find out after the lawyers and the investigation have been conducted,” he explained.
According to Edu, what his son needs right now is a trusted lawyer.
Meanwhile, Vilma Santos, the mother of Luis, has already reacted on the issue that her son is facing. She even went emotional while talking about it. The Star For All Seasons pleaded not to judge her son because he’s a good man.
