Nico David: “Tutulungan namin yung SEC na mahanap kayo (streamers)”
NICO DAVID – The content creator went live on his YouTube channel as he featured streamers who promoted the Lele Gold Farm game.
Before going live on his YouTube channel, Nico posted on his Facebook account where he gave his reaction after reading the SEC advisory on Lele Gold Farm. He also shared Lì’s Facebook post where he reacted to the said advisory.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in its advisory on Lele Gold Farm, said that those who solicit or convince the public to invest in the investment scheme being offered by Lele Gold Farm may be held criminally liable under Section 28 of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC) and penalized with a maximum fine of PHP 5,000,000.00 or imprisonment of 21 years or both pursuant to Section 73 of the Securities Regulation Code.
Furthermore, the Commission said that the names of those involved will be reported to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) so that the appropriate taxes and/or penalties be assessed correspondingly.
This is the reason why Nico decided to go live on his YouTube channel.
