LARA QUIGAMAN AND MARCO ALCARAZ – The celebrity couple welcomed the New Year at home together with their children.
Lara shared the reason why she and her family had to stay home instead of going to Cebu.
On Sunday, the former beauty queen shared that she and her family were supposed to flying to Cebu two days ago in order to welcome the New Year with her husband’s side of the family.
She also said that she and her husband had plans to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary and her 40th birthday.
However, she said that her sons Tobin and Momo contracted “Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease” and so they decided to cancel their plan and to stay home so as not to spread the disease.

Lara admitted that they’re disappointed because they had to cancel their plan, but their New Year’s Eve celebration was one of the most memorable for her as they got to bond with their “ates”.
“We talked about what we are grateful for, our hopes, our dreams and goals. We played games and sang Praises to God as we welcomed the new year,” the former beauty queen shared.
She went on to say that God’s plans are way better than their plans as His plans are not to harm them but to prosper them and give them a bright future.
