Alex Gonzaga went viral on social media after she smeared cake icing on the waiter’s face during her birthday celebration.

Kris, in his comment on Inquirer’s Instagram post, said that people always have something negative to say. He added that people “just like to extract the negative out of things instead of the Positive”.

The singer went on to tell that he’s sure the waiter “will be grateful that this happened” after the said incident.

Let’s fast forward and after this event that waiter just went viral, will probably get ‘something’ after, and a LOT of sympathy. Most recognition he ever got as a waiter. So after all the noise…i’m sure he will be grateful that this happened,” Kris said.

Kris also said that the celebrity vlogger was “clearly tipsy and it all comes down to intention”, adding that she was “probably trying to have ‘fun’”.

The singer then clarified that he wasn’t justifying the actions of the celebrity vlogger, but he didn’t agree with everyone making it such a negative thing.

He also responded to the netizen’s comment by sharing his experience as a server, as a barista, as someone who sells knives door to door, and as someone who sells clothes at the mall.

So now putting cake on someone’s face at parties is demonized? I thought that was normal. You guys never put cake on anyone’s face on a birthday?” he said. “Again not justifying her actions, but geez…stop the bullying. No one is perfect.

So now it’s bad to put cake on someone’s face during a birthday? I thought that was a normal thing,” he wrote.
