Jessy Mendiola: “Missing my baby’s kicks in my womb”
JESSY MENDIOLA – After announcing that she gave birth to her first child, the actress said that she’s “almost two weeks post partum”.
To recall, it was last January 7 when she and her husband Luis Manzano announced that they welcomed their first child. The two even revealed the name of their daughter.
Jessy Mendiola revealed in one of her posts on Instagram Stories that it’s actually been “almost two weeks” since she gave birth to her first daughter, Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano.
“Missing my baby’s kicks in my womb,” Jessy wrote in one of her posts obtained by ABS-CBN News. “Almost two weeks post partum.”
The actress has yet to show the face of her daughter, although she posted on her social media account a photo of her hand holding the hand of “little Rosie”.

Prior to the announcement that she gave birth to her first child, Jessy posted a vlog on her YouTube channel where she gave her supporters a tour of her baby’s nursery room.
“A lot of our first memories with baby Peanut will happen sa room niya, kaya ineffortan naming lahat, na pagandahin yun space. Plus, we made sure everything we might need, andoon na,” she said in the description of her vlog.
Months prior to the arrival of their first child, the couple moved in to a new rental home because the two wanted a safer interior space for their growing family.
It can be recalled that the two announced last August that they’re expecting their first child together. According to the actress, she and her husband had been planning for a church wedding in 2022 when the “pleasant surprise” came along.
