Janine Gutierrez Speaks about Mom Lotlot de Leon in Vlog Interview
JANINE GUTIERREZ – The Kapamilya actress revealed the biggest lesson she learned from her mother, actress Lotlot de Leon.
One of the actresses who came from a celebrity family is Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez. Both her maternal and paternal sides are celebrity families. She is the eldest daughter of actress Lotlot de Leon, the daughter of Superstar Nora Aunor and veteran actor Christopher de Leon, and actor Ramon Christopher “Monching” Gutierrez, the son of Asia’s Queen of Songs Pilita Corrales and veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez who is dubbed as the Philippines’ Elvis Presley.
At a young age, Janine is already a multi-awarded actress but she is vocal that she just want to do good projects. She visibly handles the pressure of being the granddaughter of Nora Aunor well.
However, at a young age, Janine Gutierrez also faced a huge challenge. She was only 12 years old when Moching Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon separated. She lived with her father.
During a vlog interview with Karen Davila, Janine Gutierrez admitted that there were more times when she and Lotlot de Leon would disagree on something. It happened most especially when the actress became her manager in showbiz. According to her, she would sometimes go to Lotlot as a daughter but her mother would respond in a manager’s way if it is about work. She admitted that she went through a therapy and she’s realized her mom’s actions.
When asked about the biggest lesson that she learned from Lotlot de Leon, Janine Gutierrez answered that her mother is a “survivor” who makes the best out of the situations in her life.
Janine revealed that she previously had a battle with guilt whenever she would think about that her coming to Lotlot’s life quite stopped her career.
