Here’s the latest update on Jeremy Renner
JEREMY RENNER – The Hollywood actor and Avengers star posted a selfie after his accident and operation.
It was on January 1 when the actor figured in an accident near his residence in Washoe Count, Nevada, USA. He was ran over by a vintage PistenBully or snowcat, the vehicle used to level and remove ice. It weighs more or less 14,330 pounds.
His life was put in danger and is currently in the ICU of a hospital due to blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Renner had two surgeries since doctors implanted a metal pin in his leg, which was rolled by his PistenBully.
It is believed that Renner is feeling better now because three days after the tragedy, he was able to post on his Instagram a thank you message to everyone. He noted: “Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”
In the photo, his face is swollen and bruised. It was taken from the ICU of the hospital where he was.
Meanwhile, in a press conference, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam presented the details of Renner’s freak accident. According to Balaam, Jeremy Renner used the PistenBully to help a relative get his car out of a three-foot snow. Renner got off the PistenBully to speak with the man he assisted in removing the car.
He noticed the snowplow rolling by itself while they were talking. Renner tried to get on the snowplow to stop it from running but it was too late as he was hit by a rolling vehicle.
