Hollywood star Jeremy Renner figured in an accident
JEREMY RENNER – The Avengers star is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow.
Renner rose to fame after portraying the role of Hawkeye in the movies and television series of Avengers of Marvel Cinematic Universe. He became popular in the Philippines as Jason Bourne, his character in the 2012 movie The Bourne Legacy.
He stayed for a long time in the country since of the scenes of the movie were taken in the Philippines. At the time, he was given a chance to wear Barong Tagalog during his courtesy call with former President Benigno “Noynoy”Aquino.
In an interview, he said that Filipinos are “welcoming” and “loving”. According to him, what he likes the most about the country is Palawan where some scenes of The Bourne Legacy were taken. Aside from El Nido, Palawan, some scenes of the action-thriller film starring Renner, Edward Norton, and Rachel Weisz were shot in San Andres, Intramuros, Marikina, Navotas, and Sta.Mesa.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of Jeremy Renner revealed that the actor is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow.
“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. His family is with him, and he is receiving excellent care,” his spokesperson said.
Apparently, it was not disclosed where the accident happened but it is believed to have occurred at the actor’s residence near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, one of the hardest hit by winter storms in America. Renner was airlifted to the hospital.
Prayers for his recovery are pouring in from his fans. Renner’s accident occurred six days before he would have celebrated his 52nd birthday on January 7, 2023.
