Alex Gonzaga’s Husband Breaks Silence on Viral Cake Incident Involving his Wife
ALEX GONZAGA’S HUSBAND – Lipa Councilor Mikee Morada posted a statement over the viral cake incident involving the actress-TV host.
The recent incident involving actress-celebrity vlogger Alex Gonzaga earned her a lot of bashing and negative criticisms. Many people were disappointed by what the actress-celebrity vlogger did to a waiter during her birthday celebration.
At the birthday salubong of Alex, a party was held in a restaurant in Makati City. Her family and friends sang her a birthday song. After it, Alex blew the candle on top of the cake held by a waiter. She then tapped the top of the dessert with her fingers and smeared some cake icing on the forehead of the waiter who was holding her birthday cake.
The video went viral on social media and sparked negative reactions from a lot of people. On the other side, there were also those who gave the situation a benefit of the doubt that the actress and the people at the party were possibly just having fun.
Recently, Lipa Councilor Mikee Morada, Alex Gonzaga’s husband, broke his silence on the viral cake incident. In a Facebook post, the politician admitted that it was his wife’s fault and she is sorry about it.
According to Mikee, many were said about Alex and there is no excuse to what she did but she recognized her fault and has apologized to “Kuya Allan”, the waiter whom she smeared some cake icing on. He admitted that he accepts that the people will always have something to say even she has already apologized but it also pains him to read some negative criticisms that even touched the time when they lost their baby.
Alex Gonzaga’s husband stressed in his statement that the actress-TV host chose to stay silent and she has already apologized to the waiter. He ended her message by assuring his wife that he will always be by her side no matter what other people will say about them.
