Ridiculous rumors about Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza
ALDEN RICHARDS – The Kapuso actor has spoken abou ridiculous rumors about him and former love team partner, Maine Mendoza.
In his interview via “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda”, the EB Dabarkads put an end to rumors about him and Maine.
The love team of Alden and Maine, collectively known as AlDub, is considered as one of the phenomenal love teams in the country. Their tandem started in July 2015 via the “Kalyeserye” segment of Eat Bulaga.
The public embraced their tandem and even though it has been a long time since it ended, there are still many ardent supporters of their love team. Because of this, avid fans believe that Alden-Maine became a couple at some point. There were even rumors that surfaced online that the two got married and had kids.
Despite they have already clarified that those ridiculous rumors were not true, there were some fans who are trying to insist that such stories were factual. But according to Alden Richards, what happened between him and Maine is “self-explanatory”.
“I think everything po is self-explanatory. Uulitin ko po, during the AlDub era, nagpapasalamat po kami sa lahat po ng suportang ibinigay ninyo sa amin, sa lahat po ng pagmamahal. You know, masaya po kami na napasaya namin kayo,” he said.
“But right now po kasi, kami po ni Maine ngayon, we’re at a point na we’re not getting any younger. We’ve already made our, of course, personal choices,” he added.
It can be recalled that Maine Mendoza is now engaged to actor-politician Arjo Atayde. Their proposal happened last year at a beach resort in Batangas. On the other hand, Alden Richards is single and is not dating someone. Despite issues hurled against them, Alden and Maine have remained very good friends up to this point
