Group of Teachers Went Viral Over “Birit” Performance
Several teachers from Baybay National High School wowed netizens because of the “birit” performance in a viral video.
Teacher Jecho Antonio Rosello has shared the video footage of his performance along with fellow educators. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online and earned praise from the netizens.
The teachers enjoyed singing “Never Enough” from the musical drama “The Greatest Showman” in the video. Rosello did not expect that the video would go viral on social media.
Rosello explained that he used to sing in school programs and events. He admits that they have no enough time to practice but expressed his happiness after nailing the song perfectly.
“Kapag may mga programs or events, kami talaga kumakanta. And I’m proud to say na kahit wala kaming gano’n kahabang preparation for practice, may mga guts pa rin kaming mag-perform,” Rosello said.
The male teacher expressed his happiness after receiving positive comments online because of their performance.
“Nakaka-overwhelm din, at the same time, nakakataba ng puso kasi kahit gano’n kaikli lang ‘yung preparations namin, nakakaperform pa rin kami nang maayos,” Jecho added.
The educator hopes that their performance will inspire other people to show their talents and bring happiness to others.
“Ma’am, Sir, ‘pag may talent po kayo, puwede niyo po ‘yang i-share sa mundo, puwede niyo po ‘yang i-share sa classroom, sa lahat — sa society, or maka-perform kayo sa programs or in any way na puwede niyong ma-share ang inyong mga talents,” the educator said.
