Performance rating of Sandro Marcos according to a survey
SANDRO MARCOS – The performance rating of the Ilocos Norte 1st district representative is 93% according to a survey.
Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Araneta Marcos III, the eldest of the three sons of President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, has been serving as the 1st congressional district representative for Ilocos Norte.
Before he ventured into politics, he worked as a member of the legislative staff of House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez. The latter, whom he sees as his mentor, is the cousin of his father.
After winning the congressional seat of the 1st district of Ilocos Norte, the 28-year-old neophyte politician, was elected House Senior Deputy Majority Leader in the 19th Congress of the Philippines on July 26, 2022.
Recently, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he thanked his supporters after being named one of the top-rated solons of the Ilocos Region.
Sandro Marcos, the 1st district representative of Ilocos Norte was among the top-rated solons of the Ilocos Region after receiving a 93% performance rating in the survey conducted by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) for the year 2022.
“Thank you to my kakailian for the support. A lot more to do but it’s encouraging to know we’re heading in the right direction. Mabuhay po kayo!” he noted in a Facebook post.
Meanwhile, Sandro Marcos is one of the authors of the controversial Maharlika Investment Fund. It aims to maximize state assets or government revenue to turn it into a “sovereign wealth fund,” by investing in various real and financial assets.
