Rica Peralejo: “When we’re out it’s not as if we’re out because we’re going to engage people.”
RICA PERALEJO – The former actress recently explained the reason why celebrities like her declined requests for photos in public.
Rica recently responded to a comment sent by a fan on her TikTok account on why she used to be “snobbish” whenever her fans would ask for a photo with her.
The former actress shared that some celebrities — including herself -— are introverts and would rather have a better interaction with their supporters than just having a photo taken.
According to her, it took her years to adjust and only had to do so because it’s part of being in the showbiz industry. She also said that celebrities like her are also humans who would do normal routines.
“When we’re out it’s not as if we’re out because we’re going to engage people, it’s really more of like running errands or being with ourselves,” Rica said. “So it’s like catching the celebrity in a very ordinary kind of day mood like seriously, sino ba yung tao na gustong mag papicture 24/7 ng buhay niya.”
