Here’s the comment of Mon Tulfo on the outfit of Sara Duterte at a Christmas party
MON TULFO – The veteran journalist criticized the outfit of Vice President Sara Duterte at a Christmas party.
The Vice President and Education Secretary made a buzz online following her attendance at the Christmas Party of the Office of the Vice President (OVP). Sara Duterte graced the event wearing a crop top, a top that exposes the waist, navel, or abdomen.
As expected, she earned reactions from the netizens with some calling her “cool.” Among those who lauded the vice president is actress Giselle Sanchez who went to the social media platform, Instagram to share a video of her with the vice president, calling her: “coolest and most astig.”
However, Mon Tulfo lambasted her and even questioned whether she was actually the Vice President of the Philippines given that she appeared at the celebration in casual attire, sunglasses, and a floral crown.
“Ito ba ang Pangalawang Pangulo ng bansa? Oo nga’t may paligsahan ng mga costume sa Christmas party sa Office of the Vice President (OVP), pero kelangan ba niyang sumali at ipababa ang kanyang kagalang-galang na puwesto?” said Tulfo.
Mon Tulfo even asserted that Leni Robredo and other former vice presidents didn’t dress up in funny costumes. His post generated mixed reactions from the netizens. Some even brought up Tulfo’s 2012 ordeal at the hands of Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto.
Sara Duterte, the daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte, has yet to issue any statement on the criticisms she has been receiving following her outfit at the Christmas party.

Karapatan ni VP Sara kung ano ang gusto nyng isuot. Niluklok ng taong bayan para maging VP at lalapitan kung may suliranin ang isang mamayan. Hindi kasama ang kanyang kalayaan sa pagsuot ng gusto nyang damit sa pagluklok natin bilang vp ng bansa. Pinakita lang nya na walang nagbago sa kanya sya pa rin yung Sara Duterte nuong ordinaryong citizen xa at ngayon ay VP na ng Bansa tatak nilang pamilya yan.
