Here’s the final performance of Jovit Baldivino, days before his passing
JOVIT BALDIVINO – The final performance of the Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) first-ever winner before his passing resurfaced on social media.
The singer passed away on Friday, December 9 at around 4 a.m. after being “comatose” for five days. He was 29 years old. On the night of December 3, he was rushed to the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas after having trouble breathing following a song performance.
Prior to the incident, the PGT singer was advised by his doctor not to sing as he had been “recuperating for a week with hypertension maintenance medicines.” Then, a family friend from Batangas City invited him. At the time, he performed three (3) of his signature songs including Faithfully by Journey.
On the third song, Jovit was noticed gasping for breath. His face was deformed with flowing saliva after an hour of sitting. He was then rushed to the hospital and the CT scan revealed a blood clot in the brain (a sign of an aneurysm).
Meanwhile, following the death of the PGT singer, a performance of him at the said event resurfaced on social media. It was posted on the microblogging site, Twitter by Kapamilya Online World.
In the video, Jovit can be seen giving an all-out rendition of the song The Flame by Cheap Trick. Watch the video below:
The video is currently making rounds online. A netizen commented: “Ganyan ang nangyari kay Chocoleit pero iba naman sakit nya. Gasping for air.”
