Born on December 9, 1988, Matthew Marcos Manotoc is the youngest son of Imee Romualdez Marcos and Tommy La’O Manotoc. This means he is the grandson of the late president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and former First Lady Imelda Marcos. At the time of his birth, his parents were in exile in Morocco.
CAREER
Presently, he serves as the governor of Ilocos Norte. He was a senior provincial board member from the second legislative district of Ilocos Norte from 2016 to 2019.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He traveled to the US in 2006 to attend Claremont McKenna College to study psychology.

Golf and basketball are Manotoc’s two favorite sports. He co-founded Espiritu Manotoc Basketball Management and served as a basketball coach at the International School Manila. He reportedly dated Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell in 2019.
