Here’s the response of Rita Gaviola to a netizen who said that her partner seems like a “beki”
RITA GAVIOLA – The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate who rose to fame as Badjao Girl responded to a netizen who commented that her partner seems like a beki or gay.
Rita, also known as Badjao Girl, rose to prominence after a photo of her taken by Topher Quinto Burgo during the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon, went viral on social media. She was only 13 years old at the time. Her family, along with her five other siblings, traveled from Zamboanga to Lucena City in Quezon in search of a better life.
Rita’s father used to be a garbage collector, and her mother is a stay-at-home mom. She then joined the reality show Pinoy Big Brother Season 7 as one of the lucky teen housemates. Fast forward, Badjao Girl has achieved celebrity status.
Previously, Rita Gaviola and her partner introduced their baby girl named Kiana. She said that although she is ready for the new chapter of her life, it is still inevitable that she will be hurt by the negative comments of netizens. But she and her partner consider their child a blessing.
Recently, she and her partner went to the video-sharing platform, YouTube wherein they answered the positive and negative comments from netizens.
In one of the comments, a netizen said that it seems her boyfriend is beki or gay. Here’s the response of Rita Gaviola:
According to Rita Gaviola, her partner is not gay. “Hindi siya beki guys. Ganyan lang talaga siya kumilos at magsalita,” she said.
