John Amores is currently making a buzz after throwing punches during the JRU vs CSB game in the NCAA Season 98 tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre on Tuesday, November 8.

When cameras rolled to Amores and CSB’s CJ Flores getting entangled on the floor, Migs Oczon of College of St. Benilde had just secured a three-point shot (71-51). Amores was then involved in an altercation with the referee.

JRU’s coaching staff escorted Amores out of the game while the latter continued to yell at someone on the opposing bench. He eventually charged at CSB players and threw punches, hitting several rival cagers.

Mark Sangco of CSB attempted to stop Amores by punching him. But it only fueled Amores’ rage. Taine Davis was hit in the jaw, and Jimboy Pasturan was hit in the eye. Security then escorted Amores to the dugout.

The incident has gone viral, garnering reactions from the netizens. Among those who reacted is no less than Rendon Labador.

In a post, he said Amores is among he wanted to face in the court. “Yan ang mga gusto kong kalaban sa basketball,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rendon Labador rose to fame with his so-called inspirational messages and vlogs on social media. He previously made rounds online following his basketball challenge with PBA stars. Apparently, it did not push through.
