Neil Arce, the husband of Angel Locsin, made a name for himself as a poker player. He was known as “Dirty Ice Cream” in the poker scene. This might be due to their family business, the locally noted ice cream brand, Arce Dairy.

After his poker era, he ventured into producing movies. He is credited as the producer of movies; 10,000 Hours, Camp Sawi, Last Night, Sid & Aya and Miss Granny.

On the other hand, Angel Locsin is widely regarded as one of the country’s most popular celebrities. Her showbiz career began on GMA-7. She rose to prominence as Alwina in the 2004 fantasy-themed television series Mulawin and as Darna in the TV adaptation of the Mars Ravelo eponymous comic. She eventually decided to join ABS-CBN.

It was in June of 2019 when Neil proposed marriage to Angel. They were supposed to tie the knot in November 2020, but the pandemic postponed their plans. Eventually, they tied the knot via a civil wedding just last year.

In the past few days, the couple had been rumored to have broken up. It started following the actress’s “missing in action.”

Maxene Magalona, the ex-girlfriend of Neil, was even dragged into their alleged separation. Amid the rumor, she left a cryptic message on Instagram, saying most things do not deserve attention.

Finally, Neil Arce has broken his silence on the issue. He addressed the rumor via message on the Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie Diaz.

“Me and my wife are charitable people. Donation na po namin sa fake news peddlers ‘yang kikitain nila sa pagpakalat ng fake news. Besides deserve naman ng followers and subscribers nila makarinig ng kasinungalingan,” he said.
