Male Netizen Flexes Grades of His Son on Social Media
A male netizen has posted the “Pasang-awa” grades of his son on social media saying “Nak! Napakalupet mo talaga”.
Nowadays, most parents are excited and proud of their children’s accomplishments. Some of them end up posting the grades or certificates of their kids on social media.
Previously, the Department of Education (DepEd) reminds the public to refrain from posting learners’ diplomas, Certificates of completion, or photos of documents containing sensitive information on social media.
However, sending such documents are allowed via private messaging or email but publicizing it is strictly prohibited. The said policies are in compliance with existing laws and policies on data privacy and safeguarding.
A Facebook user named Cyril Bagangan Rait has shared a photo of his son’s temporary report card for the first quarter. The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that Cyril’s son gets 75 in all subjects except for Filipino and English, which were blanks. Rait said that his son goes to school “Half-day” and his grades would get better if he will go to class for a whole day.
“Hindi naman importante sakin yung grades ang importante pasado, as long as na nag ienjoy siya ayos na kami dun, Atlis parepareho tol..hindi ng iinggitan mga grades. Hehe,” Rait said.

Dear Netizens,
Top grades doesn’t guarantee a million in the future.
How many remember that you’re bobo in your school end up successful than the valedictorian?
