Netizen on KC Concepcion: “Akala ko si Karla Estrada”
KC Concepcion – The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion was mistaken as Karla Estrada, the mother of Daniel Padilla.
Maria Kristina Cassandra “KC” Cuneta Concepcion is an actress, singer, dancer, TV host, entrepreneur, socialite and humanitarian. She is often dubbed as the “Mega Daughter”, in reference to her mother Sharon Cuneta’s honorific as the “Megastar”. She has had lead roles in Philippine films For The First Time and When I Met U, and television series such as Lovers in Paris, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala, and Ikaw Lamang.
On the other hand, Karla Estrada whose real name is Carla Elago Ford rose to fame when she starred in the shows; Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? and Maricris Sioson: Japayuki. She used to join singing competitions during her early days. She was discovered by a talent manager in a music hub in Quezon City which led to her appearance in That’s Entertainment- a variety show broadcast by GMA Network.
Karla is the mother of actor-heartthrob Daniel Padilla. Aside from Daniel, she also has three children (Jose Carlito, Margaret and Carmella) from her previous partners. Previously, she was one of the momshies/hosts of the morning talk show, Magandang Buhay alongside Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.
Meanwhile, a lot of people took a second look at KC in the video that she uploaded on social media. It was on November 14 when she went to Instagram to share some “ganap” during her visit to Dubai.
As expected, her post was flooded with reactions. There were netizens who expressed their happiness to the actress that finally she was able to visit Dubai.
But some netizens mistook KC Concepcion as Karla Estrada, the first time they watched the video. A netizen said: “I thought it was Karla Estrada at first! Beautiful!” Another netizen noted: “Same. At first glance I thought it was Karla E too.”
