“Bardagulan” of Doc Adam and Rendon Labador
DOC ADAM vs RENDON LABADOR – The so-called “bardagulan” between the two social media personalities is trending online.
Adam Smith is a doctor from England who is now based in Australia.
It was in 2017 when he started his YouTube channel “Doc Adam” alongside his Filipina partner wherein he gives medical advice.
He used to visit the Philippines through medical missions and as a result, has learned how to speak Filipino.
He then shifted to giving reviews on products that enjoys endorsements from celebrities and politicians with various unproven medical claims
In 2020, he faced a lawsuit from fellow doctor Farrah Agustin-Bunch. This prompted him to end his YouTube career and take a “different direction in life”.
On the other hand, Rendon Labador rose to fame with his so-called inspirational messages and vlogs on social media.
He previously made rounds online following his basketball challenge with PBA stars. Apparently, it did not push through.
Recently, Doc Adam took to social networking site, Facebook wherien he shared his opinion about vlogging in the country.
Accoording to him, the most famous vlogs in the Philippines are mindless dumb pranks, tsismis or poverty p*rn.
He added that “these vloggers promote and sell unethical bs to their audience. gambling, networking companies and expensive vitamins or “weight loss” drinks.”
Doc Adam cited that in other countries, vloggers there become famous for travel, food, commentating on topical issues, catching and debunking scammers, and science.
His statement was reposted by Pilipino Star Ngayon Digital on Facebook.
Among those who reacted is no less than Rendon Labador.
It was then followed by their exchange of words on social media or known as “bardagulan.”
