NADINE LUSTRE – Senator Risa Hontiveros took to the social networking site, Facebook, wherein she posted a photo of herself alongside the actress whom she referred to as “president.”
Nadine started her showbiz career as a former member of the all-female group Pop Girls.
She then ventured into acting.
She rose to fame after playing the lead role of Eya Rodriguez in the film adaptation of the popular wattpad novel Diary ng Panget.
She is also known for her role as Leah Olivar in the popular television series, On the Wings of Love with James Reid.
In 2018, her performance as Joanne Candelaria in the romantic drama film Never Not Love You received critical acclaim.
She also earned several citations such as the Young Critics Circle Best Performer award, the FAMAS Award for Best Actress, and the Gawad Urian for Best Actress.
Recently, Senator Risa Hontiveros took to the social networking site, Facebook, wherein she posted a photo of her alongside the actress.

It can be recalled that it was in 2017 when her fans started to call her “President Nadine”.
It was actually a joke during one of her tours with her boyfriend at the time, former love team James Reid.
He stated there that she improved the quality of his life, and that is how it all began. People on social media joked that Nadine should be “president” to improve people’s lives.
During the previous election period, Nadine Lustre was among the staunch supporters of outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo.
