MELAI CANTIVEROS – Some netizens and fellow celebrities noticed the resemblance of the comedienne with actress Janella Salvador, especially with her hairstyle.
Janella rose to fame after starring in the defunct daytime drama, Be Careful With My Heart, which aired until 2014.
Her first leading role was in the 2015 ABS-CBN series, “Oh My G!” wherein she portrayed the role of an orphan who blames God for the trials in her life
In 2016, she had her second major lead TV role through the music-based drama Born for You wherein she portrayed the role of an aspiring musician who studies and works in Tokyo.
Then, she made a version of Moana’s “How Far I’ll Go” which gave birth to her first solo concert called Super Janella in 2017.
In 2019, she returned to acting on television after starring in the series The Killer Bride, portraying the role of a possessed girl named Emma.
She last appeared on TV via an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya titled Tren.
Currently, she stars as Regina in Mars Ravelo’s Darna.
On the other hand, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco started in showbiz when she became part of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother where she became a big winner.
After her PBB stint, she ventured into acting, and currently, she’s one of the hosts of the morning talk show, Magandang Buhay.
Meanwhile, some netizens and fellow celebrities noticed the resemblance between the comedienne and the actress, especially with the latter’s hairstyle.
Recently, Melai went to the social media platform, Instagram wherein she posted a photo of herself with the caption: “Goodnight everyone.”
Among those who commented is Kapuso comedian Boobay who noted: “Janella Teyyyy?”
Some netizens agreed with Boobay’s comment.
