Maxene Magalona: “Give yourself to God before you give yourself away.”
MAXENE MAGALONA — After speaking about her realizations on love and failed relationships, the actress shared the most important lesson she learned from her marriage.
To recall, Maxene shared in a Facebook post that she’s “very grateful” for the failed relationships she has had in this lifetime.
“I understand that I had to go through all of them so that I could determine for myself the soul connections that I want to keep and let go of the ones that don’t match my energy,” she wrote at that time.
It was last week when she opened up about her status in an Instagram post where she talked about her happy life as a “single and childless” woman.

Recently, Maxene posted wedding photos on her social media account and also shared the most important lessons she learned from her marriage. She started the caption of her post with a quote: “Give yourself to God before you give yourself away.“
Maxene went on to say that most relationships didn’t work because people dive into them with “unresolved trauma” and “unprocessed pain” from childhood.
She also urged her followers to have very honest conversations in their relationships, all about their fears, past traumas, intentions, and heartaches, among others. The actress shared another lesson to end her social media post: “Never chase. Attract.”
The breakup rumors between Maxene Magalona and her husband Rob Mananquil first started last January as eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the actress no longer followed her partner on Instagram and dropped his surname.
They have yet to directly address speculations about their apparent breakup as of this writing.
