Jessy Mendiola: “Peanut is okay. Peanut is normal, even after my COVID infection.”
JESSY MENDIOLA — The actress recently released a new vlog where she shared an update on the situation of her baby after testing positive for COVID-19.
To recall, the actress shared her COVID-19 journey in her previous vlog.
At that time, Jessy said that she was worried for her child because she tested positive for COVID-19 while being 5 months pregnant. She also shared that she experienced fever and mild colds in the initial days of her isolation and later on developed a mild cough, which worried her further.
Fortunately, her cough eased the next day and it took her 11 days inside her room before testing negative for COVID-19 twice through antigen kits.
Jessy recently gave her social media followers an update on the situation of her baby, saying that she wanted to make sure that her baby was well. In her latest YouTube vlog, she said that she wanted to see her baby through an ultrasound session despite the assurance of her doctor.
“Peanut is okay. Peanut is normal, even after my COVID infection. We’re just really grateful kasi si Peanut, strong si Peanut. Normal ang growth niya, normal ang weight niya,” Jessy said.

Jessy’s husband, Luis Manzano, was with her throughout the appointment and was happy when they saw their baby healthy. The TV host even joked around with his wife, thanking the Lord that their baby looked like her rather than him.
Meanwhile, Jessy shared that she and her husband are currently planning on moving to a new home as she wanted the environment to be safer. The actress also gave an update on the “baby room” which has yet to be shown.
Jessy is currently 6 months pregnant.
