Earlier, Budol went to Senator Raffy Tulfo’s Wanted sa Radyo Program and accused her ex-manager Elizabeth “Elize” Estrada of “pocketing” her talent fee of approximately 1 million pesos.

The beauty queen also revealed that her former talent manager once demanded a 30% cut of her talent fee for a TV appearance.

Atty. Garreth Tungol, Tulfo’s resident legal counsel, stated that Herlene Budol may file qualified theft or estafa charges against her former manager.

But Estrada, her former talent manager denied her accusations.

“Meron po ako linawin sa mga sinabi niya,” she told PEP.ph via Facebook direct messaging.

“Sobra po kasing damaging ang ginawa niya sa akin, pero kung puwede din ma-interview din ako sa TV para malaman nila kung ano talaga [ang] totoo. Credibility ko po at private life ko ang sinisira niya para lang mapag-usapan siya,” she added.

Herlene, also known as “Hipon Girl,” rose to prominence after appearing on Wowowin’s Willie of Fortune segment.

Because of her talent and funny jokes, Willie Revillame later decided to make her a regular host of his show.

Aside from hosting, she has dabbled in acting and, more recently, vlogging. Herlene Hipon’s YouTube channel currently has over 2 million subscribers.

She made headlines in 2020 after exchanging words with Miss Universe Manila Alexandra Abdon. They were eventually able to mend their differences.

She also dabbled in pageantry. In fact, she finished first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2022, taking home seven special awards. She is currently preparing for her role as Miss Planet Philippines 2022.
