Boying Remulla on ABS-CBN over frequent reporting of son: “idinidiin nila masyado”

BOYING REMULLA – The secretary of the Department of Justice (DOJ) criticized ABS-CBN for frequently reporting on his son who was arrested in an anti-drug operation.

Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla, the eldest son of Justice Secretary Remulla was arrested by the anti-drug operatives of PDEA in Las Piñas City on Tuesday, October 11, for possession of more than P1 million worth of high-grade marijuana, or “kush”.

He was arrested by PDEA and Ninoy Aquino International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group which include the units of the Bureau of Customs, the police, and other relevant agencies after receiving a parcel containing about 1 kilo of kush with a street value of 1.3 million pesos at a house in BF Resort Village.

Due to the frequent reporting of ABS-CBN on what happened to his son, the elder Remulla slammed the Kapamilya Network.

Although the Justice secretary promised that he would not interfere in his son’s case, he could not help but notice ABS-CBN’s seeming ‘pandidiin’ on the issue.

Boying Remulla believes ABS-CBN holds a grudge against him because he was one of the network’s key players when it attempted but failed to secure a franchise.

“ABS-CBN has been very ano… Sila talaga ang tumitira sa akin. Napakabigat po. Kasi nga siguro yung participation ko sa Congress noong ako’y congressman at nawala ang kanilang franchise, major part ‘yan,” Boying Remulla said.

“Every 20 minutes meron silang news flash tungkol sa… Parang ito na lang po ang nangyayari sa Pilipinas. May news flash sila, idinidiin nila masyado,” he added.
