The love story of a 64-year-old senior citizen and an 18-year-old girl
DAVAO DE ORO – A 64-year-old senior citizen fell in love with an 18-year-old girl.
“Love knows no reason, no boundaries, no distance. It has a sole intention of bringing people together to a time called forever,” H. H. Fowler once quoted.
It’s a popular saying that describes what true love is.
Even a generation gap cannot call into question, limit, or undermine love.
Speaking of, a couple from Davao de Oro showed that a huge age gap doesn’t really matter as long as you love each other.
Lolo Romeo, a 64-year-old man said he never had a girlfriend because he preferred to remain alone.
However, everything changed when he met Valentina, whom he admittedly fell in love with because she was simply very nice.
“Napakabait kasi na babae. Kaya niligawan ko siya. Wala namang bata o matanda sa pag-ibig. Nasa puso ‘yun kapag nagkaintindihan kayo,” he said.
Valentina, on the other hand, admitted that Lolo Romeo was very consistent and diligent in pursuing her, which eventually led to her falling in love with him.
“Sinagot ko siya kasi na-in love ako sa kanya! Kahit matanda na siya importante mahal niya ako!” said Valentina.
Their love story was featured on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, or KMJS, a news magazine show broadcast by GMA Network.
It debuted on the network’s Sunday evening lineup on November 7, 2004, hosted by Jessica Soho.
The show includes stories about current events, pop culture, foods, celebrities, health, and trends, as well as urban legends, ghost stories, and alleged paranormal activity.
