Vickie Rushton and Jason Abalos are officially married
VICKIE RUSHTON AND JASON ABALOS — The former beauty queen and the actor are officially married after being together for more than a decade.
Vickie and Jason have known each other since 2010 as they first met during the “Kapamilya Karavan” event in Bacolod City last 2010.
It was last June when Vickie shared photos on her social media account and announced that she and Jason are officially engaged. However, the actor revealed that they have been engaged since September 1, 2021.
Based on a report, the couple tied the knot last September 1 as the two got married in a church ceremony in front of their family and closest friends in the showbiz industry.
Although the two haven’t posted photos on their respective social media accounts, Nice Print Photo shared the first official wedding photo of the couple and also mentioned “San Antonio De Padua Parish” in its post.
As seen in the photo posted on Nice Print Photo’s Instagram page, the couple wore Francis Libiran designs — Jason was wearing a traditional barong with some embroidery and Vickie was wearing a white dress.

Actors Joross Gamboa and Marco Alcaraz shared some snippets of the wedding, reception, and the kiss of the couple on their respective Instagram Stories.
In one of the videos posted on their Instagram Stories, the actor was seen wiping his tears as his partner was nearing the altar. Vickie and Jason were also seen sharing their first kiss as a married couple in front of their families and friends.
