Celebrity couple Jason Abalos and Vickie Rushton recently took to their respective social media accounts to announce that they are now engaged.
Jason and Vickie shared the news with their supporters on Thursday morning as they shared a photo of Vickie’s diamond engagement ring on their respective Instagram accounts.
In the caption of Vickie’s Instagram post, she said that she and Jason have been “keeping a little secret” about the status of their relationship. The former beauty queen also cited a Bible verse in her social media post.
The actor, for his part, bared that he and Vickie have been engaged since September 1 of last year.
“Habambuhay ko pasasalamat ang Panginoon sa buhay mo Baba,” Jason wrote in the caption of his Instagram post along with a photo of the two of them together. “Patugtugin na ang kampana!“

To recall, the actor said last September 2021 that he’s planning to build a farm house with Vickie in the province.
“Magiging katulong ko ang @lotustoolsph para mabuo namin ni @vimrushton ang aming magiging farm house,” Jason wrote in the caption of his Instagram post at that time.
Jason’s Instagram post last December 2021 went viral online after greeting everybody with a happy new year using ID pictures of him and his partner. At that time, Jason simply put what looked like an ID photo next to Vickie’s.
The two first met during a “Kapamilya Karavan” event in Bacolod City last 2010.
