Vice President Sara Duterte to President Bongbong Marcos: “Happy Birthday! I wish you good health and happiness”

VICE PRESIDENT SARA DUTERTE — The Vice President recently took to social media to share a message for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr on his 65th birthday.

The President is celebrating his 65th birthday on Tuesday, September 13. He marked his 65th birthday by planting bamboo or “kawayang tinik” in San Mateo, Rizal.

Sabi ko, siguro ang pinakamaganada, para ‘yung kaarawan ko ay maging mas makabuluhan at talagang may dahilan na tayo magcelebrate, sabi ko gawa tayo ng greening, tree planting at ‘yan naman talaga ay ang pinakaimportanteng isyu hindi lamang sa Pilipinas kung hindi sa buong mundo ngayon,” the President said in his message.

The President participated in the national simultaneous bamboo and tree planting activity, which was spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

The Vice President posted an “obligatory birthday selfie” with the President on her Facebook page along with a birthday message for him.

In the caption of her Facebook post, the Vice President said that she wished him good health and happiness. She also said that she wished God’s favor upon him as he’s celebrating his birthday.

Meanwhile, Premier News Ventures reported that Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer and his wife, Negros Occidental 4th District Representative Juliet Marie Ferrer, attended the birthday luncheon of President Bongbong Marcos at the Rizal Hall in Malacañang Palace.

Also present at the birthday luncheon of the President are Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and Senator Imee Marcos.
