Tropang LOL or formerly known as Lunch Out Loud is a late-morning variety show broadcast by TV5, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z.

It is currently presented by notable ABS-CBN talents and social media influencers, namely Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, Wacky Kiray, Alexa Miro, KC Montero, Jeff Tam, Jd Axie, and Laboching

The show is currently making rounds online due to their insensitive question in the Maritest segment.

In the said segment, the celebrity guest player was asked by Billy Crawford: “Naging mag-jowa sina Ariel Rivera at Gelli de Belen nung 90’s – pero nag-break sila for a while dahil daw sa third party na… Sino?”

Among the choices are Agot Isidro, Regine Velasquez, Lea Salonga and Jean Garcia.

Obviously, the answer is Regine Velasquez.

It can be recalled that Regine had a fling with Gelli’s husband Ariel Rivera in the past.

Apparently, many were not amused with the question.

There were netizens who called the show insensitive and clout chaser.

Here’s the comment of some netizens:

This is not the first time that the show was slammed for allegedly being insensitive.

It was just recently when #CancelTropangLOL became a trending topic on the micro-blogging site, Twitter due to their insensitive question about the Kpop group, Super Junior.

In the said segment, celebrity guest Pooh was asked: “Sa concert scene sa Pilipinas, aling k-pop group ang nag cancel ng show sa Pilipinas recently dahil ang tatay ng isa sa mga members ay pumanaw?“

Obviously, the answer was Super Junior.
