Toni Gonzaga is the newest brand ambassadress of Shopee
TONI GONZAGA – The newest endorser of Shopee has finally broken her silence after being tapped by the online shopping giant as its promoter.
Toni, whose real name is Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano, is a singer, entrepreneur, host, actress, producer, vlogger, and singer.
She was the former lead host of the long-running reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
She decided to step down as the main host of PBB earlier this year after supporting the candidacy of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
She previously signed a contract with AMBS, a network owned by former senator and billionaire businessman Manny Villar, now that she is no longer a part of the Kapamilya Network.
It was on Thursday, September 29 when she was introduced as the newest brand ambassadress of Shopee.
During her speech, she mentioned that she is very grateful to be welcomed and to become part of the Shopee family. She also thanked the netizens supporting her.
“I feel really blessed… I am also grateful because yesterday we were trending. We are grateful to the netizens for the engagements, mentions, because they are one of the reasons why we are here,” she said according to Manila Bulletin.
Prior to introducing Toni as the latest brand ambassadress of Shopee, the online shopping giant received massive backlash following reports of downsizing its employees.
Shopee has yet to issue an official statement regarding the negative comments they are receiving.
A lot have deleted their Shopee account and one of which is veteran actor Jaime Fabregas.
