Here’s the comment of Raymund Marasigan on the assault issue of Marcus Adoro
RAYMUND MARASIGAN – The drummer of legendary band Eraserheads has commented on the assault issue of Marcos Adoro.
Eraserheads is a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 1989 composed of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan.
The band became one of the most influential and successful in the history of Filipino music.
Earlier, the members of the band announced that they are holding a reunion concert.
Following the announcement of the upcoming reunion concert of the legendary OPM band, fans took to social media to express their excitement for the highly anticipated show.
While many fans were overjoyed by the news, there were those who couldn’t help but notice Marcus Adoro’s inclusion in the reunion concert despite his controversial past.
Fans, in particular, cited assault allegations leveled against him by his former partner Barbara Ruaro, an indie actress, and his own daughter syd hartha, a singer-songwriter.
Meanwhile, in the article written by Kara Bodegon-Hikino which was published on the music and entertainment website, Bandwagon, Raymund Marasigan, the drummer of Eraserheads commented on the issue involving his fellow band member, Marcus Adoro.
“If you’re my friend, seek me out [and] we can talk about it privately. Publicly on social media, any statement can be misconstrued. Nobody wins,” he said.
“I hope the issue between the parties gets resolved soon. I really want to respect the privacy of those involved, and sincerely hope they all find peace of heart and mind,” he added.
Marcus Adoro has yet to issue any statement regarding the controversy.
