Paolo Duterte and daughter Isabelle Duterte have settled their rift
PAOLO DUTERTE – The Davao City representative personally visited his daughter Isabelle Duterte in Australia, ending their rift.
On her Instagram Story, Isabelle posted a photo of her father after visiting her in Australia.
“Surprise surprise!!! Welcome to the land down under papa!” she said.
In another post, Isabelle and her father are seen together while having dinner.
Isabelle is the daughter of Congressman Paolo Duterte with his ex-wife Lovelie Sangkola.
It can be recalled that it was in 2017 when they became viral following their exchange of words.
At the time, Isabelle criticized her father and even lambasted the position of her dad in Davao City.
Her father responded to her criticism through social media.
“It’s not because I’m a Duterte but because I’m your father. Change your family name if you want to! You have no respect! You are an embarrassment! Study first so you don’t become empty-headed. You now don’t know how to listen just because you’re already popular?” he once said.
Meanwhile, many were glad that finally, they were able to settle their father-daughter rift.
Paolo “Pulong” Zimmerman Duterte is currently serving as the representative of Davao City’s 1st district.
He previously served as vice mayor of Davao City from 2013 until his resignation in December 2017.
Paolo Duterte is the eldest son of former President, Rodrigo Duterte.
His sister Sara is the incumbent Vice President of the Philippines, while his brother Sebastian is the incumbent Mayor of Davao City.
