Life of Ninong Ry before he ventured into vlogging
NINONG RY – The content creator whose real name is Ryan Morales Reyes admitted that before he entered the world of vlogging, he used to be a market vendor.
In an interview with Karen Davila, he shared he has a business that he inherited from his father after he passed away.
But there was a time Ninong Ry’s business had almost closed down.
According to him, he was just hanging out at their house, waiting for a sign on what to do in life when he thought of vlogging.
He said that it is very difficult to be a wet market vendor and that you must have your own personality because of the “suki system” and that you must have to recall the person to come back to you.
“Ang pagtitinda sa palengke, it taught me na there is no job beneath you. Lahat ng trabaho, gagawin mo ‘yan,” he shared.
Ninong Ry said he often hears people say that he is a graduate of La Salle but he only sells in the market.
“Sa loob-loob ko, ang pagtitinda sa palengke ang nagpaaral sa akin, so hindi ito nakakahiyang bagay. Mas naaawa ako sa ‘yo kasi ganoon ‘yung tingin mo, masyadong makitid ang tingin mo sa mundo,” he said.
Ryan is a graduate of Culinary Arts from De La Salle University – College of Saint Benilde.
Right now he is no longer selling at the market because he has focused on the world of vlogging and his mother has taken over the business he left behind.
His entry into the world of content creation was indeed a big answer because he was able to lift himself out of the problem he was facing before.
Before he became a vlogger, he came from a break-up in a five-year relationship.
